Bill's note to the committee is as follows:
My dear friends, I'm still mostly speechless over the weekend, although many warm and wonderful thoughts are spinning around in my head, most of them centered on each and all of you and how well it all went, despite everything that happened over the last few months and days. Thanks from the bottom of my heart for everything you did on the reunion, both planning and doing, your care for our classmates and your thoughtfulness towards me. There's plenty more to say when we meet next.
We as a committee plan to meet soon to consolidate our materials, evaluate what was done successfully (or not), what was needed and what was unnecessary, etc. Our purpose is to put a template in place so that the next time around will go even more easily. Our goal is to groove more and work less.
We will be discussing a date for a future reunion, how to continue keeping our class database updated, and what on-line presence will be maintained for the short and long terms.
Certainly, any comments or suggestions are always welcomed either by e-mail, comments to a blog posting, or (better yet) the Yahoo group/forum.
Jim, Bill, Susan, Jackie, Diana, and all of you who worked so hard. What a great reunion! I'm sure each of you is exhausted, but it was a job well done! What fun reconnecting with old friends and playing "remember when?"
ReplyDeleteMy heartfelt thanks to each of you for all your hard work. Hope to see you on some of my future trips to G'ville. C/O 68 ROCKS!
