Ken Nibling and his brave troops tee-ed off at 12:27 on a steamy Gainesville afternoon, not as hot as it could but pretty darn hot. All golfers acquitted themselves well on the first tee with no personal injuries sustained on their initial drives.
A local personal injury lawyer (and a GHS grad) was seen leaving the parking lot before the golfers took to the first tee. Our reunion golfers took this as a good omen since, after sizing the reunionists up, he likely had decided that none of them would likely cause any serious injuries to anyone. He didn't even leave his card!
